Meet Dr. Steinkeler
Dr. Andrew Steinkeler was raised in Falmouth, Maine. He attended Tufts University, where he double-majored in Biology and Spanish. While at Tufts, he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
After Tufts, Dr. Steinkeler matriculated to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, he earned numerous awards, including the Theodor Blum Award in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Matthew Cryer Society Award in Oral Medicine, as well as election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
He received his doctor of dental medicine degree in 2009, graduating in the top of his class. Dr. Steinkeler was then accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. As part of his residency, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he received his MD degree in 2012, graduating at the top of his class. He was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, awarded to the top graduating students from his medical school class. Dr. Steinkeler received a 2-year general surgery certificate at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, completing rotations at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also completed extensive rotations in adult and pediatric anesthesia. He completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2015.
Dr. Steinkeler is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
He is also on the Executive Committee of the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society.
His surgical interests include facial reconstructive surgery, dental implant surgery, bone grafting, removal of impacted wisdom teeth, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and facial trauma surgery.
Dr. Steinkeler resides in Bucks County with his wife, Christina, and his three adorable children. He enjoys playing golf and tennis, skiing, traveling and spending time with his family.
